‘This is a great terroir,‘ says Jules Desjourneys. The estate covers 3.6 hectares, 70 ares of which face south, opposite Yvon Métras’ winery; and the rest face southeast and are higher up, which tempers the sun's character. It is the spiciest Fleurie and one of the most floral, with hints of liquorice and mignonette. The wine is deep, dense and full-bodied. It is a serious vintage, which time reveals.
