South, south-east facing. Soil based on deep, complex limestone colluvium at the foot of the slope. Brown limestone, silty-clay and then clayey soil without limestone.
The plot is small but the wine is extraordinary.

The nose is very complex and difficult to describe, combining several olfactory universes. On the palate, it unfurls a phenomenal substance, with incredible fullness and density. The vibrant finish is of prodigious length. Only one barrel is produced, for 180 magnums and a few bottles. (ex-Ménétrières)
