Blending of terroirs Le Clos and Les Condemines, in the lower reaches of the Chénas, on the Chapelle de Guinchay. Le Clos looks towards Saint-Amour, with clay and granite; Les Condemines has yellow clay in the subsoil and granite arenas above. Old Vialla rootstock, which gives low yields. Resembling Moulin-à-Vent, this wine is nevertheless more accessible young, silky. It hides its strength in its chiselled and delicately extracted tannins. Its scents of pepper and flowers are memorable and it ages wonderfully, halfway between Fleurie and Moulin.
