Pouilly-Fuissé

A blend of several terroirs, 50% north-facing, 50% south-facing. Crystalline or volcano-sedimentary base (sandstone, rhyolitic tuffs, granites, sandstones, schists) on the north side and also clayey limestone on the south side.
It generally offers a very Côte d'Orien nose, on a delicate toasted note, with fine mineral and menthol nuances. The palate is precise, with a sovereign balance; then it stretches out with a tracing acidity. A school Pouilly, which ticks all the boxes.
